Client Course Description

The rolling green meadows of Kentucky have long been admired for their fabled horse farms. Set among this world-famous equine breeding ground is Griffin Gate Golf Club, complete with its own impressive bloodlines. Renowned architect Rees Jones, son of the revered Robert Trent Jones, sculpted this very fast track from the rolling hills of Kentucky bluegrass country. Griffin Gate Golf Club is set on the 250-acre Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa that embodies the tradition of gracious Southern hospitality.

Griffin Gate Golf Club is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, which enable golf facilities to protect the environment by enhancing precious natural areas and wildlife habitats.

Designer Notes

An 18-hole course affiliated with the Marriott Hotel.

An extensive bunker renovation was completed in July 2015 which included adjusting fairway grassing lines in certain strategic areas to give players additional shot options throughout the golf course.
