Client Course Description
Addison Reserve is a Distinguished Elite Club and is recognized as #5 out of the top 150 country clubs in the country, and as #25 in the world by Platinum Clubs of the World. Tee off on 27-holes of championship golf, recently re-imagined by renowned architect Rees Jones. Our three 9-hole courses – Redemption, Salvation, and Trepidation – offer challenges and excitement every round. Golfers can fine tune their game at our pristine putting green, chipping areas, and driving range.
Originally designed by Arthur Hills, the Club offers three nine-hole championship courses, Trepidation, Redemption and Salvation, which combine both beauty and challenge. The signature waterfall is the backdrop to the practice facilities which include the 9,500 square foot putting green, short game practice area and adjacent practice range.
Designer Notes
Rees Jones and Steve Weisser developed a comprehensive Golf Course Master Plan for all the three courses at Addison Reserve Country Club as well as the practice facilities. The extensive renovation was carried out in two phases: the Trepidation nine and the practice facilities were completed in 2023, followed by the Redemption and Salvation nines in 2024.
The redesigned Addison Reserve 27-hole golf course brings the facility up to modern standards, with a strong emphasis on variety and member member enjoyment. Each hole has been thoughtfully crafted to offer a unique challenge and distinct character. A key design focus was on enhancing the ground game — every green is accessible with a running shot, while new ly introduced contours add complexity to fairways and surrounds.
The greens, averaging a generous 6,500 square feet, have been shaped to offer multiple pin placements and varied playing strategies. Each course culminates in a standout ninth hole: Trepidation’s par-four ninth features no bunkers but is a monster of a hole; Salvation’s par-five ninth has two water carries, and Redemption’s short par-four ninth green is wrapped by a cascading stream.
