Client Course Description
The Tuxedo Club is a distinctive social institution that, since 1886, has provided its members, their families and guests with recreation and refuge in the close environs of Metropolitan New York City. The planning and building of the New York Thruway marked the end of the Club’s original course built in 1889. A new course had to be found. The club hired Robert Trent Jones, Sr. to build the new course which opened 1957. Jones took full advantage of the new site to build what is a challenging and scenic course.
