Client Course Description
The 18 holes at Victory Ranch meander over 7,600 yards of High Country, with bent grass greens and fairways, bluegrass rough and tall fescue grass lining its boundaries. Rated among the best in the state by Golf Digest, this course challenges your game, while the dramatic views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Uinta and Wasatch Mountains test your focus.
The natural 400-foot elevation change on Victory Ranch’s golf course allows it to transition from gently rolling fairways to commanding views of the surrounding area. Of all the vistas on the course, the outlook from the championship tee box on the 17th hole is the real jewel. From here, a 360-degree panoramic view takes your breath away, leaving no doubt that you are in a very special place.
Designer Notes
The Club features a ‘core’, course routing that maximizes the site’s significant topography and plays both adjacent to and across numerous caverns and natural rock outcroppings. The design emphasizes variety and strategy, while providing spectacular views of the surrounding Wasatch mountains, Provo River and the Jordanelle Reservoir.
In 2019, we developed a Remodeling Master Plan for the Club. Phase One improvements that included a comprehensive bunker renovation, the development of select greenside chipping areas, replacement of all green approaches and collars, an expansion of the south practice tee and the creation of an adjacent, 1.5-acre short game practice area were completed in 2020.
In 2022, the membership approved the construction of a new clubhouse that necessitated the slight relocation of Hole One tee complex. Construction of the new tee complex, as well as the addition of an adjacent Putting Course are currently underway and scheduled for completion by November 2022.
