Bethpage Black To Host The Barclays In 2021, 2027
Bethpage State Park’s Black Course will host The Barclays, one of four events in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs, in 2021 and ’27.
The Black Course, a public course located in Farmingdale, N.Y., that twice hosted the U.S. Open (2002, ’09), first hosted The Barclays in 2012 and is already scheduled to host the tournament again in 2016.
“Bethpage State Park is one of the best public golf courses in the nation, and we are proud to welcome The Barclays back for two more tournaments,” New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a release. “We look forward to welcoming golfers and spectators to these world-class competitions and urge them to also experience all that Long Island has to offer.”
In addition to hosting The Barclays, the Black Course will also host the 2019 PGA Championship and 2024 Ryder Cup. The course is also ranked No. 1 among Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play in New York.
