PALM BEACH GARDENS – BallenIsles Country Club will unveil a $7.5 million redesign of its famed South Course on Sunday, and architect Rees Jones will be on hand to celebrate.
Jones will take part in a grand opening event beginning at 10 a.m. at the 55-year-old course, which was closed eight months ago for a complete tee-to-green makeover.
Renovations include new bunkers and design modifications, an all-new irrigation system, drainage and concrete cart paths.
A new set of tees measuring approximately 4,000 yards also was added, which provides a shorter course playing option.
