Client Course Description
Robert Trent Jones originally designed the Riverside Course in 1964. Rees Jones did a redesign in 2003, which truly enhanced the original concept and the course was one of the Golf Digest Top 10 Best Redesigned courses in 2003. Three holes on the back nine were reversed to bring the Chattahoochee River into play and view. AAC Golf Course and Grounds Director and Project Manager Ken Mangum, worked with Rees and his key staff members, Bryce Swanson and Clyde Hall, in this environmentally-sensitive area, to ensure that AAC members would have a great course on which to play.
Designer Notes
A complete renovation in which all greens, tees and fairway features were rebuilt. Four new holes were built within the new routing.
