Audubon International Certifications
For over 25 years, Audubon International has assisted golf courses in their efforts to blend environmentally responsible maintenance practices into day-to-day operations. The organization recognizes program members that demonstrate their commitment to environmental quality by meeting required standards for protecting the environment, conserving natural resources and providing wildlife habitats. Golf courses certified by Audubon International improve environmental performance and community relations, reduce liability, save money and contribute to environmental conservation.
The cornerstones of the Audubon International certification program:
- Environmental planning
- Wildlife and habitat management
- Chemical use reduction and safety
- Water conservation
- Water quality management
- Outreach and education
