Designer Notes
This resort course, located in Loreto, was designed to maximize the magnificent views of both Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez and is located on one of the most diverse landscapes, featuring dunes, mountains, foothills, desert, arroyos and ocean holes, we have ever had the opportunity to work with. The stunning 178 yard par 3 17th hole is already hailed by some as one of the best in the world.
The course winds its way up from the desert to the canyon and down through coastal dunes to the beach. It turns at the beach and climbs up through the mountains, where it reaches the already famous cliffside peninsula par-3 17th hole perched over the Sea of Cortez. This varying landscape allowed the creation of golf holes that are dramatically different from each other and combine to give the player a one-of-a-kind experience. Danzante Bay is destined to become a flagship TPC facility.
TPC Danzante Bay is only the fourth international facility in the TPC Network’s, owned by the PGA TOUR, collection of championship golf courses.
